I read the pattern reviews on Pattern Review nearly every day. There are lot of gorgeous garments made and reviewed there. Is it my imagination that more of them are from Australia than anywhere else?
I love the inspiration I get. The reviews make me want to go out and buy that pattern and get busy. Of course, my pattern collection and stash are rather large so I guess I better work on that first. It’s really hard not to add to my stash because I love shopping at S. R. Harris. It is only 8 miles from where I live. And, of course, I manage to pick up a lot fabric at estate sales! My latest find was 4 yards of really high quality cotton for $8.00.
I plan on joining Pattern Review as soon as I have something to post. Until then I will continue to lurk.

Yes -Pattern Review is such a great vehicle for sewists I consult it regularly – not just for inspiration but also to see how other people deal with a pattern.
I love Pattern Review! I joined and then paid the membership for the JoAnn discount. It does pay for itself, then again I go to JoAnn way too much! The last few days I’ve been looking at the Review Gallery and finding some great new pattern ideas. If you’ve been stalking it, you probably saw my tartan skirt I added yesterday!

Pattern Review is both wonderful and a bit of a curse. It’s great to see the clothes on real people instead of the bland models on envelopes – but every time you go there, you add another pattern to your wishlist 😛
